Hey everyone in Xanga land!  Sorry for my hiatus I been preoccupied with graduations, weddings, and being a student (see pictures below). 

I feel like I been working as hard as I can to make a name for myself.  What have I achieved?  Marginal success, but success.  Thinking back to last summer I knew absolutely nothing about light!  I'm so thankful for all those who've helped me along the way. 

Justin, Fred, Adib - Thanks for showing me the power of light

Hoang - Technicality and histograms.

Bobashop, Henwhy, gerkshinobi - showed me that young people can do something with creativity

John Yao - Such an inspiration!

elv3ndr3ame12 - thanks for modeling/bringing me models.  I'm so appreciative of it

 I've come a long way since then but I have so much more growing to do >=].  My current status?  I'm currently interning with the Daily Pilot and Huntington Beach Independent as a photojournalist. I'm at my last day at Bridgenet.  I'm amazed that there are random people at UCI who know me by my photographs.  I'm thankful for all the help and support I been getting. 

Upcoming goals.  I've mentioned to some of you that I was thinking of upgrading my equipment.  Well the time is coming up. I'm waiting for my Vagabond II to come and waiting for Paul C Bluff to put out those new ABMax.  I'm planning on picking up a 85/1.8 once I find a decent price.  With these I hope to master controlling light from mixed sources and to obviously produce crisp images.  I want to explore different locations and open my mind for creative impulses.

I will not shoot!  This quarter I told myself I will focus on school more and hurry up a get my BA.  Last week I was swamped with work from Bridgenet and the bookstore.  In addition I had projects due and 4 or 5 shoots (I can't remember anymore).  I love shooting and all, but I'm not going to perform to my full potential if I can't find balance.

I still need to write Campbell's and Trend's papers.

For the upcoming week I have two papers, a quiz, and a design project due.  I'm going to focus on getting those out of the way and maybe pick up a newspaper assignment.  Crap, and I need to prepare a portfolio for my interview.
